The hosts include:Rep. Paul Ryan,R-Wis.,The House Republican Conference chairman, said he was not sure how he would vote on the bill, which passed the Senate earlier this month with bipartisan support.
But he said that “if you’re going to do something in Washington that is going to affect all of us, you’ve got to take the time to figure out how to do it in a way that is good for all of our people and the country.”
Rep. Mike Quigley,D-Ill., said he is a big supporter of the legislation and supports its eventual passage, but that he is concerned that it is not fully understood how to best make it work for Americans.
“I have no doubt that this is a great opportunity for the House to do good, to help Americans in a meaningful way and also do something good for our country,” Quigly said.
“I think that we’re going in the wrong direction.”
